Made some ABT's today from the peppers I picked the other day. Love these things but hate making them as they are very time consuming.

Thanks guys. I have more to make tonight if the beers don't get in the way ;D
Very nicely done. I love these little burners, but they do take time to make.
Looks like you got the bacon nice and crispy(or its just the picture) what temp did you cook at?
I love them ABT's just takes alloooooot of time to make.
I make a full load and after there done, cool, vac pack with enough for a single sitting and freeze.
Reheat in the convection oven or on the grill, indrect heat to avoid flair ups.
devo my friend they look just absolutely fabulous, that money shot picture is just great....
Nice work, bet they're good!
ABT perfection right there! Nice!

Just kiddn, those things look great. I'm on my way now.
Lump
LOL
I guess I should have labeled the bacon differently. Should have labeled it bacon bought in Canada ;D Seems I made a post about the ABT,s on another site and some guy from the states wanted to argue till the cows come home that my bacon was not Canadian bacon. I guess if you go by whats posted on the web its not Canadian bacon but I travel to the states and have bought sliced bacon there and it don't taste any where near what we get here. :)
I always have a laugh at the whole Canadian bacon thing. I think in the US it's called Canadian bacon and in Canada we call it ham (the stuff I have seen in the US that is labeled Canadian bacon looks like thin sliced ham, like on a pizza). hahaha. oh well what can you do!
EH ;)
Yes Lumpy...I forgot the eh! I was raised in Kitchener. It has grown so much since I left but the surrounding area is still nice :D
Sure is a small world.
I live right beside Chicopee ski hill.
