Title: Sheep Casings
Post by: devo on September 29, 2011, 02:00:00 PM
I was at the butchers today and asked for 19-21mm sheep casings for about 40lbs of meat. He gave this vac packed bag and the price was 16 bucks. Does that sound about right for the price? I like to buy just what I need so that's why I don't order on line. Just wondering about the price.

I think it w was aa fare price as they look to be pre threaded so they slip right on the stuffer tube. Sausage maker sells them for more I think

Sounds like a good price to me.   I've bought there here a couple times from the only shop that sells them and the price is double what you paid.
