Had to replace a couple of Deer stands so I ordered two 4' X 6'.
Went over a couple towns away and picked them up this morning.
The exterior:

The inside:

Those little slits are screened so that the wind and bugs will stay out but still can see out of them.

Then just drop the window down for the kill shot.

They are saying the Burn Ban will last thru the season, so no camp fires this year.

You gonna leave them on the ground or elevate them...? nice lookin...
Noticed you ordered them big enough that you can lay down in! And that little corner seat. I don't know about yours'n, but they don't call me big bu$$ for nothing! Good looking Sonny. Those bring back memories of building them with my Dad!
Quoteno cap fires

As soon as I walk in the door of one of them a "lazyboy" will be in there. ;D
Actually we use swivel office chains after carpet is installed.

They get elevated. One will be in the 7 to 8 foot high and the other
kinda sits in a draw and will be elevated in the 9 to 10 range.

Actually went wider on these cause of the ability to put two people
in them to hunt hogs at nite under green lites. That "corner chair"
is a drink/junk holder. My arse isn't very big but it too big for that
little thing plus I need a cushion seat. Caney I have built a few with
my Dad and a bunch with my Boys, but this year I just didn't feel like
it. These are actually the first stands I have every bought.

What they are saying is no OPEN fires. Grills, SRG's, Bubba Kegs, Cajun
Microwaves will be OK. We can have a fire INSIDE the camp house in the
fireplace or outside in a 55 gal drum with 3/8 screen mesh on top to catch
the escaping embers.
Niiice! I'm thinking wall-to-wall carpet, air conditioning and a wide screen TV.
Porch on the back to hold the SRG.

Never mind the SRG, were are you going to put the smoker I dont see any vents through the roof ???
You know the smell of smoked deer might just bring the big bucks around to check out whats for lunch.

;D I'll smoke the Deer with that New "Whiskey Oak" puck in the
Bradley and the Deer will think I am just letting off Steam.
A Bradley goes with me to camp every year. The other's expect it.
Can we use those for "Cow Stands" when I come down and we go hunting COWS?
And, uhhh... Reckon we can fit a steer on that cajun microwave?...
Rminds me I need to get me a new one built for NEXT year. Will have some younguns that will be ready by then.

Curt, the box stand will get unloaded and laid on it's side on the ground
and the legs and braces will go on. Get it close to where you want and tie
a rope on one side and pull it up with a tractor and two guys stabilizing
the legs and it goes right up. We then dig a hole one leg at a time and level
the stand and THEN install guide wires or two by four bracing's to keep it
from blowing over. Takes about two hours per stand if there isn't a lot of
beer involved. ;D
Yep that's the easy way to do it. Mine wasn't the easy way at all! We built it in the garage then assembled it once we got the platform up out in the timber and raised each of the sides up one at a time.

Been there and done that when a tractor wasn't available.
Sides not too bad, but the roof is a killer.
Last year we hoisted one with two 4 wheeler winches after
we tied the 4 wheelers off to trees.
Thats how I thought you would do it Sonny, just thought that the legs might break wile standin it up.
Are problum is the legs, stilts I call em, are allready in the ground. :-\
Were tryin to rebulid an open stand into a closed in condo kinda thing. ;)
Curt, gonna call you.
I talk faster than I can type. ;D
