.................... was AWESOME!

The Team I was pulling for didn't win, but it HAS to be one of the all time Great World Series games.

Congratulations both Teams. Great Game.

I am normally NOT into baseball, but this series has been entertaining, and somehow less plodding...(just throw the *& ball!)

Reminded me of a junior varsity game, except no one had to run laps at the end.... what ever happened to "two hands"?

What a game!  A little tired today but it was well worth it!  Great Series cant wait for tonight.  Nothing like a game 7, no matter what the sport.

The only redeeming point of the game was that it ended before CJ could give it away :-\

When I saw Wilson warming up, I actually wished Arthur Rhodes was still on our side.....bad, hu? ... better yet, if it HAD been Wilson vs Rhodes the score would now be 1475 to 3183 and they'd still be playing.

Probably one of the most interesting games I've seen.  I follow baseball and root for the Yankees but I also figure the best team should win; it isn't handed to any team.

In addition to the usual chewing, spitting, crotch scratching and such, it was a good game.  Certainly a lot of dumb errors but the boys must have been wound pretty tight.  These guys were really fighting for it.

OK, now watching game seven.

Why do they have to spit so much? And the crotch stuff is equally  disturbing...do they all have fleas?  My ex husband was a pro baseball umpire and he didn't need to spit or scratch...or adjust (as guys like to call it)...

He did su nflower seeds...didn't go over well on artificial surface venues!!!!  ;D

On Game 6...I gave up on the Cardinals when they were behind 7-4 and went to bed.  What a mistake I realized when I woke up Friday morning and heard some mention of the weather forecast for Game 7.  Game 6 was possibly the best one ever in World Series history.

And then there was Game 7.  What can I say except WHAT A TEAM, WHAT A TIME, WHAT A TOWN!!!  I live in the same community where David Freese went to high school.  You'd think it was New Year's Eve after the final out last night, with everyone in the neighborhood yelling, banging pots and pans, shooting off fireworks.  I got out my traditional New Year's Eve moose horn and blew it a few times on the front porch.   ;D

It was indeed an unbelievable season, going from 10 1/2 game out of the playoffs in late August to being down two runs and their last strike TWICE in Game 6 and rallying to win it to being crowned World Series champions again for the 11th time.  Only the Yankees have a better WS record.  Now if we can just do something about the Rams.
