Title: Salmon Ordering Question
Post by: devo on October 28, 2011, 09:05:58 AM
Would like to buy some bulk salmon, and I found this place on the web that has 30% off 45lbs. boxes. Just wondering if anybody has used them in the past or heard anything bad or good about the company.

I almost forgot about this post lumpy. Been thinking about ordering some salmon and remembered I posted this. I ended up emailing them and shipping across the border is $50 bucks more. Still a really good deal compared to the farm salmon in the stores around here for $30 bucks plus a pound  :(

So their Fill The Freezer package of 45 lbs. is $608.58 Shipping & Handling. If my math is correct that's $13.52 a lbs. which is a good price for fresh Wild Alaskan Sockeye.
I just might go for it. They will also set it up so you get the fish on a day when your home. Cool

Its a good deal unless your freezer goes belly up the day of delivery, that would be my like. Just sayin.

Hey stop with the negative vibes Key  ;D
I'm sure the neighbors freezer would be available since I share my smoke foods with them.  ;)
