Can't smoke - gotta work. Nobody has asked me to carve a pumpkin - first time in 20+ years. I'll do one for my daughter anyways. Man, I don't wanna be sitting here looking at plans and writing down prices. I'm trying to get a few watercolors done before Spring - wanna do a show. On fishes of course. Just finished a black crappie, a brown trout, a speck and a tarpon (http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l95/43something/_MD70428.jpg)(http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l95/43something/1317494177.jpg)- wanna get started on brook trout, but gotta sit here at these plans.

Hi Caney,
My husband is an artist for a living and from what we have learned is that shows (of any size) lead to many things. More folks see your work and meet you, which makes them feel even more connected to your paintings and wanting to own them. Also, shows lead to commission work, too. Someone will see a painting you did of for example a brown trout but maybe they want a rainbow or brookie, they'll hire you to do that.
you'll see....;)
