Title: Rib Sauce
Post by: dogstyler on December 26, 2005, 11:35:08 PM
I am going to smoke ribs this weekend.  The wife would like to try a sauce that is "...kind of sweet-sour-tangy...".  I recall nsxbill had a bourbon-glazed sauce that we was trying, but I didnt see anything about how it turned out.

Does anyone have suggestions on a sauce that might be what I am looking for?

I have done Baby-backs with a Bourbon-Glazed recipe from "Smoke n Spice" pgae 69.  We liked it, it was a nice sweet and tangy result.  At the end we basted the BBQ sauce on it and it eas real nice.  The sauce was a good sweet.n.sour taste, and a bit earthy.

Give it a try, its not to labor intensive.

You can find it on Amazon or at Barnes and Nobles stores.  You'll love the book for much, much more than just that recipe!
