First bacon, Boston Butt, turned out great.  Used hi mountain' buckboard cure.  (http://img.tapatalk.com/aefdd942-60ce-b545.jpg)

Already have some belly curing for next batch

Never done a Butt for bacon, only bellies.  I would also be very interested in some money shots.  Looks good so far.

Tastes great.  I have never had butt bacon either.  I think it turned out pretty well.

I do a lot of Butt bacon. But use my own recipe. Me and the wife prefers it over any other bacon we have ate. Not a lot of fat but a lot of flavor. I slice pretty thin for bacon. But if you want something more like Canadian bacon,or ham try it a little thicker. It does taste different the thicker you slice.

Thanks again guys.  It tastes really really good.   I've got some belly curing for the nest smoke and going to do some more butt bacon in a couple weeks.

Thanks 8)   Just started curing 12lbs more of butt and this last weekend did my first belly.   I will get some $$ shots of that as well.
