Hi all,
Have just received my smoker and was wondering a few easy recipes that i can make to start me off and get a feel for smoking
Appreciate your help
Welcome. You could try chicken breasts wrapped with bacon. Maybe some bacon wrapped meatballs. Remember to cook by internal temp and not necessarily by time in the Bradley.

I like doing ribs, and if you follow this from tenpoint5 you will make great ribs ;)

Hi there,
I'm also a newbie when it comes to Bradley smokers and it was just recently that I had my first day of smoking.
What I cooked was the following
- Cold smoked strong cheddar. Basically just put the cheese into the smoker with the cold smoking attachment, gave it 60 minutes of cherry smoke and then I vacuum packed it to let it mature for at least 3 weeks. The wait is painful I can tell you.
- Blazin' Pistachios, following this recipe: http://forum.bradleysmoker.com/index.php?topic=13699.0 The only problem with these bad boys was that everyone went like crazy for them so I didn't get enough of them myself. ;D
- Double Smoked Duck Breasts, following this recipe: http://www.susanminor.org/forums/showthread.php?640-Double-Smoked-Duck-Breast These were a big hit among the people I used for taste testing as well.
I'd say all three of these were fairly easy starter recipes so I can recommend them for a fellow newbie.

Check out this website. It is a recipe website by Bradley owners for Bradley owners. Although it says you must register, you don't need to do so as it is primarily a "read only" site now.
