Title: A True Pittsburgh Thanksgiving dinner.....
Post by: ACW3 on November 19, 2011, 05:54:17 PM
I received this in an email from a long time friend from PA. With the holiday coming upon us, I thought everyone would get a kick out of this.

"If you are from the Burgh you'll understand. If not, just let me say that chipped ham is a Pittsburgh thing. Iron City beer, Isaly's chipped ham, and pierogis . Yum, yum"

Art...my father owned and operated a hotel and restaurant with a bar room in northern Pa. and when we would visit him I would end up tending bar, I wish I had a dollar for every Iron City beer I served...lol
