Should I try and find a snack stick recipe or order a pre mixed? I kind of like to tweek things a bit so I am leaning more toward finding a good one and working with it but have read good things about the AC Legg kits. What do most of you do? Use your own recipe or use the kits?

I have NEPAS snack stick recipe he listed for beef sticks. Would it also work well for venison? Planning on doing 80% venison and 20% beef or pork.

I prefer making my own like you said. Then you can adjust for you taste. You can't go wrong with his recipes.

I just found a few of them over on the recipe site. Think I will place an order today for some spices and get busy.

the AC Leggs Snack Sticks blend #116 is a great starting point. Then you can make your additions from there
