Title: Venison jerky.

Well a friend Gave me some Original Hi Mountain seasoning for jerky. Well Usually I prefer my own stuff and stay away from commercial seasonings. But after hearing all you guys on here and a couple other sites I agreed to try it. I was running low on my venison so I was going to slip in some burger instead.
Well put another deer down today and butchered and ground it. So going to do 15 lbs of hi mountain deer jerky. Not sure I can buy the cure and spices for what they charge. But still like mine better then any thing I've tried till now. Will let you know what I think later.
It might be a week or two till I get my racks to go to 12 for jerky.
