Title: Hillybilly and Canadian Bacon
Post by: HSC5690 on December 04, 2011, 09:57:06 PM
I decided to make some Christmas gifts.  Started with a twin-pack or pork roast from Sam's Club and 6 whole pork loins.

This is some of the Hillybilly Bacon ready to go into the BDS.

Here is 13 lbs of Hillbilly Bacon sliced and ready for the freezer.

I hope everyone on my Christmas list enjoys them as much as I do.

Looks great! I usually trim most the fat off before curing. But may try it this way. Love bacon.

Thanks everyone, I already have several family, friends and fellow workers who are dropping hints for either one of the bacons.
