Title: First brisket on new cooker
Post by: thirtydaZe on December 05, 2011, 08:53:38 AM
just a small 5# flat i had seasoned and vac'd earlier last month. i had a whole saturday to play, and with the snow, it was an added bonus.

first brisket on the stick burner.

vac'd coming to room temp:

it had a nice fat cap that i failed to capture....

tucked in for a wintery cook:

best turnout i've had with brisket. love that smoke ring. i think i could have been more patient with this one, but i got a late start.

live and learn, i'll be doing this many more times.

There's nothing like a brisket on a cold winter's day - well any day if you want the truth!

That brisket looks mighty tasty!
