Title: Adding heat to smoke generator
Post by: freonjohn on December 16, 2011, 05:21:02 PM
I see there is an extra cord on the generator. What is it for? I have installed it on an old stainless freezer, and it smokes great. I want to do hot smoking also but can't find any decent heating elements to install in the frezer also. Any suggestions?

Ok this is just a guess at what you are talking about. I am assuming you have a Bradley smoke generator mounted on a freezer for smoking. If this is what you have and you are looking at the Smoke Generator(SG) the way the Bradley system works is that the Smoker cabinet plugs into the SG and then the SG plugs into the wall. If it is a Digital then there is a small plug-in also. The Original does not have the small plug-in.
