Title: Chipotle Pistacios
Post by: Thomas DeWitt on December 21, 2011, 03:32:42 PM
So, i made a big batch of Muebe Nuggets this morning and thought to myself, why not keep going.  I saw the pistachio threads so here is what I did.  I made 2 batches.  One 3# Regular recipe (thank you squirtthecat), one 3# of Chipolte.  For the Chipolte I used just butter, worchester and the Chipolte sauce.

With the Reveo it is a snap.  Put wet ingredients and nuts in the Reveo.  Put butter in microwave and then add to nuts.  Spin for 5 minutes.  Throw on a Jerky tray and then in the smoker at 225.  After they are smoked I am going to put them in my dehydrator to make sure they stay dry and crispy.

That is a bummer you can't read the picture but I have 2 types or Choulula.  Chile/lime and Chipolte.  I will try the Chile Lime tomorrow.
