Hi everyone,
New to the forum and smoking. Definitely not new to excellent BBQ though, livin in south Georgia ;). Just got my 4 rack DBS (for Christmas). It came in about a week ago. I gotta say, I Love it! I am very impressed with the thought out design, and the execution.
I have been lurkin on the boards here for about 3 weeks now. Thought I would say hi, and Merry Christmas.
So far I have smoked a chicken, a Boston butt, and a rack and a half of spare ribs. Everything has turned out great, except for the ribs. I can't get the ribs right, yet. They have been way over cooked.
I ordered a variety of bisquettes last week from Amazon. Can't wait to try Them out.
I will throw some pics up soon. I also wanted to thank everyone for their posts. I would be up a creek without a paddle without this board.

Hi Chad, welcome to the forum and Merry Christmas. Congrats on your present.
Sorry about the ribs. Keep detailed notes when you make them, tuning them up each try. You'll get them dialed in pretty quickly.
Welcome, You will find some great people here on the forum who are very helpful.
Welcome Aboard Chad
Here is a link to help you get started with your ribs. It seems to be a pretty good route to get you going then you can experiment and venture out and try different things ro make the ribs yours.

Quick question, where did the SusanMinor.org forum come from? Was it what everyone used before Bradley created their own? Just curious.
My Cherry, Alder, and Mesquite bisquettes came in Tuesday and I got a 10# Boston Butt going on tomorrow morning bright and early. I'm thinkin a mix of Cherry and Hickory.
