My little brother has a friend that was told to take up a hobby to help battle arthritis in his hands. Something to work on the fine motor skills of the hands and fingers. Well he took up knife making. Not in the sense that one would think. He took up knife making like it was done in the beginning. Rock, Bone and Rawhide/Catgut. So for Christmas my brother had given his friend some of the deer antlers that were laying around in the garage at Mom's house and had some knives made for each of the guys in the family. Here are mine.

Very impressive gift.
Those are very kool... keepsakes for sure...Wow...incredible...
Wow, those way cool. I think I would build a boxed picture frame lined with Black felt and then mount them in it. Maybe even hinge the face so you can show them to interested partys. Very nice for sure.
Awesome gifts!
Very nice. I have a napped knife I traded for a few years back. They are really cool to have.
If your brother has a kiln there I remember seeing an article that showed how to melt bottles down to make glass slabs for blanks. You could have Guiness knives!!
Here is one article I found looking for the above. Still kind of cool -

very cool and fantastic motor control
Did this fellow chip the blades himself, or did he acquire them from another source?
It's always nice to receive a hand made gift from a friend.
