Title: Stuffer Question
Post by: cajunboudreaux on December 28, 2011, 09:16:43 AM
So I got the LEM grinder/stuffer for Christmas. Made some snack sticks last night and the Grinder was amazing, did a fabulous job.. But when i got to the stuffing part it is just alittle slow on the stuffing the sticks. So I was wondering what you guys mainly use for your stuffers ( being the LEM that i have or a  Verticle Stuffer/ ???)etc..
Thanks in advance for your help..

The 5lbs that i did the sticks looked amazing and this morning after they rested in the fridge that smelled delish. Going in the smoker tonight...

I tried to use my grinder as a stuffer only once. It was a real workout for sure. That's why I,m glad I got the Kirby stuffer, much better option then the grinder.

Grinders work great as grinders.  Stuffers work great as stuffers.  Trying to use the stuffing attachement on a grinder is not the best possible way to stuff sausage.  Daddy always said use the right tool for the job and you will always have a project that you will be proud of  ;D
