Title: New member from Illinois
Post by: theLDP on December 29, 2011, 10:15:01 PM
Hello everyone!

I am now an owner of a Bradley 4 rack Digital smoker.  I'm really looking forward to smoke some ribs for the first time break in with the unit.  I saw that some have issues keeping the heat up in the unit.  What's the coldest outside temp you have had success smoking meat in your bradley smoker?  It gets cold in mid-state Illinois.

Thanks!

Welcome!   Whereabouts in the 'mid-state'?  I'm just a bit south of Springfield...

I keep my OBS in a Suncast tall storage shed (bought it at Menards) to keep the weather/wind off of it.   The wind is the killer...

I leave the doors cracked open to let the smoke out.  Works great.
