Hey this will make you happy... Apple has now launched its svelte laptop. It is 4X faster than the PowerBook G4 and uses a third less battery power. It is the first Apple Intel system. Now if Apple would only write an OS that I could run my proprams on.... [:D]

Thre is indeed a lot of hype on this announcements. I perosnally expected more o the ipod front. But that may be saved for later in the year. This Months announcement was clearly centered on Intel and hardware. Entertainments and the specualtion of MediaCenter systems later in the year for shoe.
As the rumors for Mac goes, we are still waiting for the next shoe to drop. The market is just waiting.

I for one am frustrated with performance of Virtual PC and mostly rely on those who work for me to help perform the Windows only activities. And I will use VPC only when needed. I look forward to this next updae. Whenever it comes.
As for the new MacBook, I will more than likely have one of those on order in the Summer or Fall. I want to wait for some bug fixes and more info on the Office App release for this new system. My current one is OK so far.
