Title: Preheating The Digital Smoker
Post by: raiderole on December 30, 2011, 08:13:09 PM
Just got my 4 rack digital smoker for Christmas.  I have a question on preheating.

What is the best way to preheat the smoker?   Do you just use the oven temp to preheat or do you use the smoke generator to preheat or both?

Thanks

I turn both on and by the time the unit is preheated, the pucks will be on the burner ready for smoking.

Welcome to the forum eh!

Hey lumpy are you from camp celtic?
Also I turn on both the oven and the smoke generator to get the temps I want.
