Title: Smoke generator not smoking
Post by: JHC on December 31, 2011, 02:58:51 PM
HELP.  Just purchased the 4 rack smoker.  I seasoned the smoker as instructed (smoke generator working).  Let it cool down and prepared the meat.  Turned it back on and now it won't generate smoke.  The puck element is hot but not enough to burn the puck.  I unplugged, plugged it all back up and still nothing.  The digital readout shows the "smoke" and the little blue flame.  Should it flash or better said, show that it looks like it is smoking?  Temps are set, etc.   Very frustrated.  Any help would be appreciated.

what is it doing? Are they burnt at all?  The pucks will not be completely burned.

it takes 20 to 30 minutes for the burner to heat up enough to properly burn the pucks, you may be starting too soon,, let the burner warm up
