Title: Another lamb roast
Post by: GusRobin on January 01, 2012, 07:22:50 PM
Did this in the SRG because it is great for roasts and baked potatoes
Took a 2.77lb boneless lamb roast. Cut slits in it and inserted pieces of roasted garlic. Poured lemon juice over it and then sprinkled a heavy layer of Greek seasoning.

Then used 2 metal skewers to hang it from the SRG basket (sorry no pic of that). Put the extra racks on the basket and put in sweet potatoes and regular potatoes.
Here is the lamb all finished:

Sauteed some spinach with chopped onion, bell pepper, celery, and salt potatoes. Here is the plate with the lamb, spinach, tomato and cheese salad, mushrooms, and baked potato.

The SRG makes great baked potatoes, but the sweet potatoes were fantastic.
