Title: Heating element crapped out
Post by: bigbucks on January 02, 2012, 10:20:06 AM
My four rack dbs heating element just crapped out with a full load of salmon in it,so I finished with a cold smoke and fired it into the dehydrator so nothing was lost just some pride in my Bradley LOL.I think I am going to replace it with a 900 watt strip heater.

if you  have a digital, then I do not think you  would have to, My only concern would be the digital control would not be able to handle the additional 400 watts.... 500 compared to 900 i would check with others that have the digital control or bradly to see if  the digatal can handle the 900 watt.. I believe it is fused at 10 amps so it  should
