Title: Question about making jerky
Post by: TMB on January 02, 2012, 07:48:15 PM
I'm about to order some Frog mats but wonder if wax paper could be used till they come in??  It says it's good to 455 temp.

Anyone ever try wax paper as a liner?

Unless you poked a lot holes in it, I don,t think it would work very good.

Tommy

Line your racks with cheese cloth.

I've used aluminum foil to line just the bottom of the rack and using a chopstick punched a hole in each square.  Results have always been good.
