I just received a Bradley smoker and began the process of "seasoning" the smoker. It isn't smoking? Any suggestion?
Thank you!
More info needed. Is it a digital smoker or the original with the slide temp control. I have the original model and can offer some advice if that's the one you have.
Oops, almost forgot...welcome to the forum. :)
I purchased the Jim Beam 4 rack digital smoker.
Thanks for the welcome! I'm excited to get started on this new venture, but disappointed with the delay. Can the temperature outside have anything to do with it? It's about 20 degrees and windy here in OH.
I am in Minnesota and my smoker works all winter. Make sure all your wires are plugged in fully. You may want to take them out and plug them back in. Even check the sensor wire in the back of the smoke generator.
welcome to the forum. check all the power connections, if that doesn't work open the smoke generator , look for loose connections and or pull apart and re seat all internal connections.
OK, I unhooked everything and reconnected it all back together. I think that may have fixed it. Does anyone know if this will be a reoccurring issue, going forward?
Should be fine unless you toss the smoker around like a frisbee. I move mine from the garage to the deck alot and have never had the problem.
We're smoking! Thankyou to all for the advice. I'll try to keep the smoker on the ground!
Have a good night and stay warm!

it should not be reoccurring, What happens is during shipping the connections rattle around becoming loose or not securely inserted during the build
