Title: Pucks not burning completely?
Post by: lumpyk on January 16, 2012, 11:07:48 AM
I have had make smoker for almost a year now.  I can say i loved it at first but starting to get rather discouraged with it.  I had to replac either heating element twice now.  First was under warranty the second I had order some extras when the first went out so I would have extra on hand.  Now I don't think my pucks are being fully used for smoking.  It is almost as it is advancing one then another right after.  I notice pucks in my bowl appearing not used at all.  They appear as if they were just pushed in the water and separated.  Also seems to be using a lot of pucks for my smokes compared to the 15-20 minute average per puck.  Anyone else encounter this problem?  If so what are the solutions.  I did take and completely clean the motor and everthing looks good and operates smoothly.

Most likely a bad micro switch.
