Is there a certain type of casing one should use when making bologna? Can you use the same casing that you use for summer sausage?
You can use any size casing you want.
Summer sausage casings would work just fine.
I use hog casings for ring bologna but like the 5" casings for the bologna when makin lunch meat.
I'm going to try some with a high vapor casing and some with fibrous casing.
