Title: NYC 9/11 Boat Evacuation.
Post by: rdevous on February 01, 2012, 09:26:55 AM

I'm sure we never heard about all this.

Greater than the boat lift of Dunkurk in WWII,  500,000 people in 9 hours, by boat.

I had no idea.

This is something amazing; I had not been aware of this wonderful effort!

Narrated by Tom Hanks.

Great stuff, I've seen this before. Tom Hanks did a beautiful job narrating.
My office is just on the otherside of the river in NJ. I saw more than I wanted to.
Rest in peace Bob M.
