Morning Guys
I have a dual probe Auber and have used it for some time on the back of my auger there is a output and a input plug. Now I just sent my son a 4rack digital bradley and a dual probe Auber and on the back of his it has heater and smoke generator is the Heater the input and the smoke gen the out put. I can't just go over to his house and look at it he is in SC and i am in NJ.
Thanks for any help ketch22
Plug the smoke generator into the outlet labeled Smok Generator. Plug the cabinet into the outlet labeled Heater. You will no longer need to plug the heater into the smoke generator. The PID will control the cabinet temp and will control the Smoke Generator. You can set the smoke generator to shut off after a given time.
I just noticed that you are asking about the 4 rack Digital. I don't have the Digital so what I wrote was for the OBS. I will defer to those that have the Digital.
The only way possible for me is to plug the smoke generator straight to a wall outlet since it will not be controlling the tower element anymore. Then I plug the tower to the PID on the heater side. And of course, the PID is also on a wall outlet. I am unable to control the the
Smoke generator as far as letting it come on during a specific cycle but I've yet to figure out what cord to use to connect it to the PID. I have a bds4.

Thanks
I had him plug the bradley smoke gen to the wall then were the PID has heater plug that to the wall. then were the PID has smoke gen plug that to the back of the smoker it self it seam to be working. But being that he is new to the smoker and the PID and not being there to help is hard. We all know how it takes sometime to get use to the PID. I will let you know how it works out if not I will call Auber on Monday
Thanks Ketch22
I have the BDS and the Auber PID. Plug the output cord from the PID ( the longer cord ) into the center back outlet of the Bradley. This controls the htg element of the Bradley. Plug the input to the PID ( short cord ) from the Controller at the SG that controls the cabnet temps and time, the right side on the back as you look at the digital readout. The longest cord goes to the wall outlet and to the left side of the back of the SG. The PID light won't come on unless you turn on the Cab Dig control. The SG side of the Bradley will now run independent from the Cab or PID by pressing that left side of the SG. You can now cold smoke with only the SG coming on- no Cab heat, or you can turn on the Cab and PID and control the Cab from The PID. The SG will stay independent from the other controls. When I turn on the PID and Cab, I run the Cab timer to the max as well as the temp. Your control of time and temp will now be under the control of the settings on the PID (up to their max settings ) . Probably confusing until you get used to it. I love the Auber PID, it does exactly what I want it to do. Good Luck.
Hi everyone
