Title: Quick chicken dinner

Took a small chicken rubbed it down with some peanut oil then a dusting of Secret Weapon Rub.

Cranked the smoker up to 250F wile the chicken was resting at room temp

After 2 hr Apple smoke

Had TBE heated up and dropped in the chicken till the IT was 160 F

Let the bird rest a bit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Dinner Time!

From the time the bird went in the smoker to the plate it was right on 3 hr.  ;D

Looks great going to have to try mine. Its out of the box now. LOL got it for Christmas and havn't used it yet.

Nice yard bird!  I have a whole chicken in the freezer that screams "SRG" every time I open the door...  Looks like I better thaw her out and get her in the brine!

I havent brined a bird in a looooong time, just might do it next time.

Now to decide which brine to use.  ::)

They don't make birds that size out west.  Must be all the corn you feed them.  Time for some chicken.

That looks great.  A young chicken, that big,  I can just taste how juicy and tender it was.
