Into a pan of all the wonderful ingrediants:
o 1 Tbsp butter
o 3 Tbsp pickling liquid from a jar of pickled jalapenos
o 3 Tbsp green Tabasco sauce
o 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
o 1/2 tsp salt
o 2 C unshelled pistachio nuts

Then into the preheated smoker for a 2 hour ride of Pecan smoke.

I don't even bother with taking them out of the shell anymore. Peeps at the bar down the street will buy them that way and just love them. I figure another 400 to 500 lbs. I will have my kids collage fund built up ;D ;D
Seen Sams Club sells them already unshelled In 3-4 lb bags I believe.

I also saw them at walmart like that. If I remember, i think their a bit more cause theyre already disassembled :D. Guess if ya don't mind doing it'll save a buck or two. :)

There's a batch in the DBS6 right now. I have done about 4 batches now (6 cups at a time) and don't shell them. You can pop them right in your mouth, and the flavor is amazing. Then pop the shell, and enjoy the prize in the center.

All Done, Now I see why STC is makin these things all the time, There damb good. I was afraid they would be to hot but they have the perfect heat and the smoke is right on spot. I went 2 hours of smoke and two more hours of heat at 250° F

Keymaster, you inspired me. Went out and got the makings at lunch and smoked 'em up this afternoon - 5 cups worth, shells on. I think if I did them unshelled, they'd disappear too quickly - probably down my own gullet! This is a great recipe! Ever since I got my smoker for Christmas my golf buddies have been reaping the benefits. Last week it was snack sticks; they have NO idea what they are in for this week!
