I want to introduce y'all to Avery, the newest addition to my family. She is 7 weeks old German short haired pointer and has more energy then any Jack Russel I have met! She is going to be trained to retrieve ducks and geese

Great looking pup! Looks Like my old Chocolate Lab did young. THat was about 4-5 years ago and still mis here. But our two poodles keeps the loving going.

I miss my GSP i had in calif, she was a hunting fool. In the off season she would point on grasshoppers. My GSP was a pheasant, chukkar and quail pup.

I gots 2 of them and they are great pointers but only one of them retrieves.
I mainly hunt pheasants and quail with them.
They will be 13 years old this year and are just now starting to slow down.
The stories my son and I could tell bount hunting with my dogs would go on and on and on.
You got some fun times ahead of ya.

Very nice addition in deed. Got to explore some prime quail ground behind a short hair myself many years ago. Very fond memories.
