Ok so I told you my wife got me some Penzey's for Valentine's day and now im HOOKED! ::) :P I just got the Spring 2012 Magazine in and I want to order everything in it. ;D Only problem... Cant afford everything. :o Right now I am really eyeing the Taco seasoning, sandwhich sprinkle, pasta sprinkle, tuscan sunset and green goddess dressing. So I am asking you guys, Whats your favorite spice, rub, dressing, sprinkle? Thanks for the feedback guys!
Tuscan Sunset is good. I also get their Mexican and Turkish Oregano, Tellicherry ground black pepper, and Hungarian Half Sharp (HOT!) Paprika.
Aren't you near Sarasota? They have a retail store there..
Tip: Leave your checkbook in the car. ;D
I've enjoyed everything I goten from them. But here's a short list in no particular order:
Bratwurst Sausage Seasoning
Breakfast Sausage Seasoning
BBQ 3000
Galena Street Rib & Chicken Rub
Jerk Chicken & Fish
Original Taco Seasoning
Northwoods Seasoning

Yes they do, and I am afraid to walk in that store. I figure if I have a set plan, a grocery list if you will, I wont have to go out to the car and get the checkbook, in turn keeping the SOWMBO happy. :)
BBQ 3000 check
Galena Street Rib & Chicken Rub check
I know Hal really likes the Chicago Steak Seasoning..
Oh, the Shallot Salt is really good. As is the Sate curry seasoning. And I put the Sicilian Salad Seasoning into pasta sauce.

Yup... That stuff ain't like "Montreal" seasoning; it's a finer blend packed with some serious flavor ---including smoke flavor --
I know, I know.. But dangit, it tastes awful good.
Another thing about going to the Penzey's store... They have samples of
everything. Sprinkle on your palm, lick it up, and if you don't like, you don't have to waste any money finding that out!

I did now know that! Dang, now I'm in some serious trouble...
I would be in SERIOUS trouble if I had access to a store in NW Montana. I'm watching this thread to see what I have to buy online. Thanks a lot.
Chicago steak seasoning
Fox Point seasoning-you gotta try this...on your eggs in the morning-eggs just aren't eggs anymore without my fox point. Also on chicken and many other things.
Vietnamese cinnamom- best in the world.
Everything is top notch and fresh. My spice cabinet is jammed with their spices.

And they have a pot of coffee ready to cleanse your pallet after trying different spices. ;D
My fav seasoning from Penseys is the spicy Northwoods seasoning.

Hey Curt, one of these days I'll see ya there.
Where's the coffee hiding?
Also try the different sugars they have, we've tried the vanilla sugar and it was great on oatmeal. Got a bag of the cinnamon sugar that's good too.
Don
My favorite is the Northwoods Fire. It is great on any pasta dish and on pizza too. We also like the California Crushed Jalapeno, Bold Taco Seasoning, Bratwurst and their Hungarian Style Half-Sharp paprika is really good.
