As with all new toys I couldn't wait to try out my new grinder. So I picked up a couple of boneless chuck roasts to make some ground beef for burgers.
Started out with 3.79lbs of cubed semi-frozen chuck.

The first batch is loaded and ready...

Now, the finished product is not what I thought it would be and I also had to keep cleaning the grinder because it kept getting clogged. About halfway through I was thinking this isn't very much fun and thought this would be my first and last attempt at ground beef. But, once I disassembled the grinder I realized I had the blade backwards! OPERATOR ERROR! I guess I should have waited until after lunch to start the adult beverages...lol

Time for the grill. Onto the Primo at around 450 degrees.

I guess I didn't put the spatula up high enough...

After a few minutes on each side I moved them over for some indirect heat until they were done.

Can't forget the cheese...

The finished product. Had to add some bacon of course. Served with some sweet potato fries the wife made.

Very happy with the way the burgers turned out. Going to try another batch this weekend. But this time with the grinder assembled correctly!
