Title: An Unexpected Gift
Post by: NePaSmoKer on March 04, 2012, 01:00:25 PM
I was in Mooresville NC over the weekend. My one son drove there yesterday. He is going to deploy again this month.

Said dad i want to give you something. Ok

He gave me this.

These were a special buy for the 82nd AA PIR soldiers if they were interested in one. 45 acp

His 2nd deployment.

He had some mods done to it.

New metal main spring housing, new solid match hammer, trigger pull taken from 11 lbs down to 4 lbs, match barrel.

I said you just want me to hold it for you until you get back from Afgn? He said no its yours. You better come back walking or i'm going to kick your @$$

White Devils is his unit. This will be his 4th deploy. He told me after this one he has 11 more months of active duty then he is done. Wants to be a fed marshall.

I wont shoot it.

Nice looking gun!  Hope your son has a safe deployment. My brother did 4.   3 in Iraq, 1 in Afghanistan.

Our kids are special.  When they go to defend their country, they earn a different respect from those who have served.  My prayers go with him.

That is a really nice present.  Lock that bad boy up so no one can ever take it from you.
