Since tonight's the last night for my Wife and Son in Louisiana, I figured I'd share their pain by fixing up some smothered pork steak, field peas and corn, all served over a huge pile of white rice. My kinda dinner, nothing I love more than rice and gravy.

Looks good! Never had field peas, are they similar to anything in taste?
