Hey guys i am new here.And i was just wondering if anyone here can tell me about this company i bought my smoker from.They told me 2-4 weeks on delievery is this the norm or should i cancel the order and go else wheres.READING all these post is really getting me axious to get smoking so any in put on these folks would be great.Soon to be smokin i hope thanks alot again.

Wow, 2 to 4 weeks sounds too long to me...
I haven't had the opportunity (yet) to purchase anything from an individual here with a username of "chezbubba", but he is an extensive poster here that is always helping people. I can tell from the 100's, maybe 1000's, of posts about him that he is very dedicated to customer service. I understand he carries a complete line of Bradley products, including a lot of replacement parts (which is very rare, pun intended). I look forward to purchasing things from his outfit.

Please note that I can't load the site with "firefox", but it does work in Internet Exploder. I would definitely talk to him about shipping time; I couldn't have tolerated a 4 week shipping time... A couple of other things worth noting - his standard price is the same as you sourced but he has a $30 discount running. Looks like that savings would cover your shipping costs. And if you buy a smoker from him you get lifetime 10% discount on the wood disks. I also understand he sells (at an additional discount) smokers that have cosmetic scratches!
Try doing a search on his username to get a feel for his reputation. I will not hesitate at all to purchase from him. Hopefully, he can supply a much quicker shipping time. I didn't think it took over 10 days for UPS to deliver anything...

it was a saturday... he said he would send it monday and i would have it by the end of the week... i had it on wednesday...
my most recent order was for pucks last weekend... i ordered pucks sat and they were here wed...

AVOID americas best barbecue
I made a huge mistake ot buy from them for the savings of less then $20. The agrivation, E-Mail, Phone Calls and distrust I went thru with them cost me much much more. The went to the point of bad-mouting the customer service and people at Bradley Industries. People who I have seen come to respect and enjoy dealing with.
My order with them took almost 2 months, and that WAS with me calling constantly and complaining. After 1 week of calling Bradley directly and helping them get the order from ambbq I had shipping tracking. Paperwork I got from them indeed showed it was shipped 1 day after they received the request from ambbq. And to top it all off, they charged my creidt card when I placed the order, not when they requested shippment. And the cancelation and refund policy make it a huge loss to deal with them after sale. Really a bad deal with them.
Order from Chez or pick it up at a local outdoor shop. Your stress levels will be much more inline with using it.
thanks for the advice and all my future purchase will be done from the place i got my bubba pucks from.I will play this out til tuesday then i will do what i have to do.2-4 weeks on shipping seems nuts.how long is the shipping from bubbas place . well its 12pm our time and no answer from americas best bbq.GREAT!!!!I feel i came to this fourm just a little to late for this info on this company compared to chez place.So when i do hear from these guys i will be canclling the order and going with chez seems like the thing to do ill take the hit on the restocking charges .15 dollar loss no biggie to feel safer going with chez.

Well this story comes to an end with me buying the smoker from chez which by the way has great service and his wife anne couldnt be any nicer over the phone .So hopefully ill be smokin this weekend and showing a bunch of friends to join on the band wagon.So chez sharpin up that pencil i have alot of friend here in illinois that love smoked food and i know where just to send them to start them up.Thank you all for your help here and this newbie smoker will be askin more questions as i go onward with this new toy lol.[8D]

I completely agree. I talked to folks at Bradley inc about them, telling them where they bad mouthed the indivudual people there. People who have been there for me and helped along the way. Bradley went as far to call me up the day after I got the bradley to make sure it made it there OK.....
AMBBQ should be ashamed, of course they don't care about people. All they want is whatever money they can get off of us. They got some of mine and I am assamed of that. It was to late for me. Among all the pain, I did get a great product.
just say NO to America's Best BBQ. Let them close down and toose the answering machine I heard to many times.
At cristmas my brother in law wanted a grill from America's Best and I went ahead and bought it for him, from them. As time went by and December was nearing the end I got pretty worried. I called them, emailed them repeatedly. Only an answering machine and a generic form email response with now info about delivery. I couldnt believe I was suckered into this.
I own a web based company, I try very hard to re-assure customers that we are legit and proud to give great service like any local company would. And I felt like a victim now.
I was all set to just buy another as it was only $100 and giving an appology for christmas seemed like all I was going to be able to put together in time. Then...POOF, a box showed up at my house on the 23rd of Dec. A full month after I ordered it.
Now, even though I got what I paid for, I would never reccomend any company like this to any one for any reason. No one needs the stress over something like this.

Well i am still waiting for my credit from this place.No matter my credit card company will take care of this matter but what a hassle.Bradley please pull these guys as a vendor.As they do a shotie bussines.No reason for people to get upset about the product because they fail to deliever.I know there web pages says 2-4 weeks but thats crazy.Chez bubba got my bs to me in 2 days.Some how i would like this to stay up on top of this board so the new people here can get some help in finding the right vendor to go to .WE ALL KNOW WHO THAT IS.Chez.To bad i found out the hard way and i dont want anyone else to go thru this ordeal.

It took some time but Bradley did finally get Americas Best BBQ OFF their web site. At least that business sense finally made it to the web master to remove the link.
Now if the search engines would do the same and let the company fall away.

No i didnt get the credit yet and i sent them a kinda nasty letter.My credit card company will handle it from here but geez what a crap way to do business.Never in 43 years have i seen something like this .Well i learned something here on this one.But never again.I would love to fly down there and really give it to them but a place like that it wouldnt even phase them.We have an approved vendors list maybe its time to have an unapproved list.Who ever mods this sight should keep this at the top for a warning to new bradley customer.[}:)]

Companies like this are usually middle men (Paper handlers) working out of their home or some 50 sq.ft. office and run on a cash basis with their suppliers. If they can't pay at the time they order then, they can't order. They got "Zero" credit and $10 in the bank W/$10,000 in bills.
All they do is take your order + your money and have the Merchandise drop shipped to you from a supplier. They don't stock anything but deposit slips for their bank account. I hate bast*rds like this. They give all online ordering companies a bad rap.
People like <u>"Chez"</u> are the only kind of people to do business with.

Well said chef.I am buying all, and i mean all my stuff from kirk.Including the new smoker comming out soon.By then ill be a pro with the older smoker and then have 2 smokers to feed all my friends.Boy i love my new toy its paid its dividens 3 times over already.Lots of happy eating people.[:D]
Had exactly that happen with trying to buy the Sentry gas regulator. Thank goodness I didn't give the first company a credit card #. Until I found a reputable company like Chez I was sceptical about ordering online anymore.
