I purchased a set of jerky racks for my Bradley and have used them to smoke salmon but when it came time to clean up it appears that the teflon or whatever black coating there is has rubbed off. I need help on this matter and would appreciate any tips on cleaning these and the regular racks.
Yeah, I had the same experience. It seems that the black is a cheap anodizing that wears through quickly if you use any abrasive scrubber on them. I've run them through the dishwasher also and, for whatever reason, seems like rust appears at all the joints. I've stopped stressing about it and rub them with a damp paper towel to get the loose oxidization off before using them. Also frequently use frogmats on top, so becomes a non-issue then.
I have the same problem with my jerky mats, they rusted first time I put them in the dishwasher. I called Bradley about them and i was taken care off by a nice lady. I was told they should not rust when put in the dishwasher. Needless to say I do not put the new racks in the dishwasher and they seem to be holding up better. If I had to do it over again I would have just bought another set of regular racks and frogmats for the times I need small holes.

Same problem here. I don't stress about it either. I spray them with a light oil coating after washing and drying to keep the rust at bay. Food seemed to stick worse when the non-stick coating was intact. I use a release agent that's called PeelEase that works better than Pam.
i hear you , i have the shame issue on the chrome plated version, what i do now is i have a plastic sink outside hooked directly to my sewer and put the plug in, add some liquid soap, a little oxi clean soak over night ,,, hit it with powerfull water stream and in a few seconds its 95 % clean... little pick here and there and hit it with the hose and its clean

Frogmats are the shiznit. They are super easy to clean. You will get some gunk on The racks that get thru the frogmats but I have found that it's 1000 times easier to clean them, than without the mats on them.

One of the first things I bought were Frog Mats based on what I read here, that & the saver pucks, both good investments.

Yes they are. I would say pucks and maverick or similar item. Just me :)

Ditto with beefmann on the liquid soap and oxyclean. My frogmats and racks both get that treatment. Works great.
