Yeeeehawwwww Just got me a new sled. 2011 Impala LT. It is what is called Gold Mist Metallic.
It was an Ex-rental with Hertz. It only has 2600 Kms on it. They list for about $28,000, I got it for $16,000. My old Neon was ready to explode.
Awrighten!!!
Congrats!!!
I've had a few of them "Hertz Specials" myself!!! ;)
Yuh got ta love letting Hertz eat the depreciation.

Yup... And maybe a lot folks drove it first -- but they wuz mostly business folks with decent sense -- and you KNOW
Hertz changed the oil on time!
Q--- You mean 26,000 (not 2600) don't ya?
(They never sell em in the states practically BRAND NEW)
26,000Kms which is around 16,000 miles. It has had the oil changed probably once. It has a Oil life monitor on it too so you always know when it needs doing. Which is good for me as I tend to leave it to long. This is kind of ironic cause my truck gets its oil done regularly.
That's awesome ;D
Down here, they don't sell until they have 20,000+ miles on 'em.
Well I guess I really scored then. Sweeeeeeet
kewl ride congrats
Nice ride, nothin better than drivin a new car!
Yep! "New To You!"
I like the previously driven/dented/wrecked specials as well. Saves a fortune in the end.

Nice car Q, but let me for warn ya' that reminder is about as good as a gas grill with no gas in the tank. I work for a car dealer and we are having issues with the amount of time they recomend on oil changes.
I'll PM you later and explane.
Car is cool just don't let the oil go to long or it will look like Sugar rubbed ribs in an SRG!

I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze, and also a 2004 Envoy XUV, and never had an issue with oil changes using the oil life monitor. Especially with the Cruze, because I have to use synthetic oil for the engine. If there is an issue could you either post it or send me a PM also.
Good to know Tommy. I like to keep my vehicles longterm so anything that helps them last is good info.
Nice ride Colin. 8) Bet you love that new car smell. I know it beats the crap out of the smell in my old pickup. LOL ;D
I love the new car smell so much, the first thing I did was go get an airfreshener. Yuck that new plastic smell sucks. LOL
Crap! New cars used to smell awesome. What next - is beer gonna taste like plastic too. LOL
Q, I am happy for you. Nice looking ride.
Drive around with your Bradley strapped in the back seat. That'll freshen it up... ;D
I wonder...do they make "new car smell bisquettes"?

Squirt that is a great idea. The only thing that could be as good as that would be bacon scent.
I'm picturing it now... a new line of air fresheners for cars with names like BBB, SS, SLB, LJ .......
