Title: Going to buy a Smoker
Post by: BrandNewSmoker on March 30, 2012, 12:04:22 PM
Hello All,
I am going to purchase a smoker, hopefully Saturday morning. I was looking at many brands but i think that i will get a Bradley. I am looking at the Digital model ( the 4 rack) it looks like it will do all that i want.I think? Question is, is there anything i should purchase that doesn't come with it that i may need right off the bat?

Welcome aboard. If you are going to need a extension cord, get the shortest one as possible and make sure it is heavy duty 12 AWG.

Welcome to the forum. If you plan on doing sausage(Once you start you won't be able to stop) You might want to think about getting a PID(around $150 for a plug and play) It will keep your temp +/- 2 degree. The Bradley temp swings +/- 15 degree which is vital.
