Crap - I was hoping we could come to your place for an intervention. But I have to agree with MikeC. You are not insane ... a little nuts like the rest of us; but not insane. 8)
Looks perfectly normal to me ;D
Added 18 more pucks today. 2 batches of smoked almonds and one of blazin' pistachios!
Nah you have to triple or more to catch up with this bunch. I just threw a five gallon buckets worth in the burn pile. But if you do have a problem you came to the right place. You'll feel normal here. May not be but you will feel so. ;)
looks like your behind some
Did he mean, does he have a problem with his puck burner?
Thirty, nope, pucks burning just fine. They leave that blond part but are burned through the center. And Beefman, leave my behind out of this!
I agree everything looks normal.
I've gotta pile like that behind my garage.
Figure what the heck its wood they'll decompose sooner or later.
Don
My dogs like to eat them... Don't know why but they do.
They will eat them out of my dump tray at the bottom of the cabinet if I leave the doors open. One time my black lab ate one that was hot and just dropped out :o
He only did it once ;)
Muebe, your dogs are smart, all the grease drippings go into the puck dish and the burnt pucks soak up the grease. The only thing I would be coserned about is diarrea with the dogs. When they want out,LET THEM.lmao.
Fishrman, don't let them go to waste, mix them in your flower garden. They keep the soil loose and add good stuff too.Just like after a forest fire,so to speak.

No grease pucks on my setup. All my pucks are dropped into a dish at the bottom of the cabinet and not inside the smoker. So they just like to eat the burnt pucks. I guess it is for the fiber 8)
My wife previously found a couple of my pucks tossed in the bark and I was looking at your picture and she says" where have you been dumping those at" And I played along saying try and go find them. She is outside right now ;D ;D ;D She is very particular about our yard so now I recycle them in the yard waste bin. I better go tell her the Easter egg hunt aint till tomorrow :)
