I finally amassed enough venison to make summer sausage(11-12#) my questions are... 1 do I mix it 50/50 with beef and could I please hit someone up for a good recipe with out having to buy a kit. I like the taste of pure venison but I really only have one shot at making this and want to make it go as far as I can. As always thanks for all your help in advance, I really appreciate it.

It calls for 50% venison or other lean game meat, and 50% trimmed pork shoulder.
