Title: Boston Butts at Albertson's
Post by: gary_CO on February 18, 2006, 06:20:46 AM
Don't know how regional the pricing might be, but I was just in a local Albertson's and they had said roasts on sale for $1/lb. That's really cheap for around here. Had to stock up. Just thought others might be able to take advantage of the pricing... Same pricing for country-style ribs.

Man, I wish we had prices like that up here in Alaska. The best I've ever seen is $1.57 at Costco. Ribs are always over $2.00 lb.

Hey-

Our local butcher just put bb ribs on sale 1.99/ lb.  I stocked our freezer.  To take advantage of what they have too much of a freezer is a nice thing to have.[:D]

Kroger had butts for 99cents a pound this week.  And whole chickens for 49 cents a pound.  stocked up.....even though I have 4-6 smoked ones in the freezer already!
