Well we had no winter only a couple storms of 2-4 inches each then they melted. But they are calling for 8-14 inches starting tonight and thru Tue. morning. With the leaves on the trees it will probably knock branches down and cause power outages. Since I never ran the snowblower I went out and started it and checked it out. Went and got some groceries, I'm as ready as I can be, bring it Mother Nature... I ain't scared. :)
Good luck with the snow partner, we have friends that live down in southern Maryland that own a place in Warren county and left a few days ago to go up and check on a few of their gas wells and both are up in years, I sure hope they make out alright..
Here's that snow you've been wanting!!
Take care..

Yep, but problem is..... it won't last very long. May even be gone by the weekend. :(
Good luck! I hope it is a lot less then what the forecasters are calling for. If it is 6-inches of accumulation or less, for this time of year I would put it in the category of "If Mother Nature put it there, she can take it away herself".
I do have a snow blower but cannot shovel due to my bad wing. Still can't get the insurance to allow a MRI so I have been dealing with a lot of pain for over six months now. So theres a good chance I'll due as you say, she put it there she can take it away. ;)
When I heard about that forecast I immediately thought two friends would be happy. One is Pens because he's finally going to get the snow he's been wanting. The other is NePaS because he's not! ;D

Thats too funny I had the exact same thought. Just how hard ole Nepas is giggling down south knowing he aint shoveling out of that mess
It's all Ricks fault, since he moved we have not got any snow. ;D
So far this so called storm is yet another failed forcast. I really believe the forcasts 10-15 years ago were much more accurate than they are now. My grass is not even covered yet. All the schools closed thinking we were to get a storm but nothing. I'm sick of the forcasters crying wolf all the time. >:(
that's absolutely sickening.
