I know alot of you buy spices in bulk or bags. So I wanted to share with you my storage method. I bought 4oz and 8oz canning jars(around $6.59dz). Poured in appropriate size jar. Used the flat lid to circle the spice, cut out and put on lid with ring over it. For the smaller jars I just wrote on the labels that come with it. I prefer to label the tops so I can just pull the box out and see what I want. Sorry about all the pics but sometimes it explains better than my words.

I like it, my spice cupboard is a major clusterDuck :)
Really love organization and that works for us...nice job...
SiFumar, You are BRILLIANT!
Nice! Great work an a good idea. May steal it my self.
Nice idea. I leave mine in the original packaging an put them all in an air tight storage box. Then I have to figure out which box has which spices. Also your method, if you have a FoodSaver with a jar vacuum adapter, you can vacuum seal the spices you don't use often.
Good idea Hab. Spices would keep for ever almost that way.
I use to keep them in original bags in container in outside refridge....but then I was always digging thru them and wanted something easier to keep track of.
