It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon here in Southern California. I had bought some cashews the last time I went to Costco, so thought today is good as any day to smoke.
I am doing my favorite take on the "Blazing" recipe. I use butter, green Tabasco, BBQ sauce (this time it happens to be Sticky Fingers Memphis Original) and worcestershire sauce. I also sprinkle a little Byron's Butt Rub on them.
The second it something I wanted to try since seeing the thread on the Sriracha Almonds. For this I simply coated the cashews in Sriracha for an hour and then into the DBS.
I am smoking on the top two racks with 2 hours of hickory. Rotating them front to back every 30 min.

I'll post the results in a few hours.
Yum!
Fresh out of the smoker and on the counter to cool down.

Thanks! Should go good with the smoked Cheddar and Colby Jack I did a few months ago and have been waiting to rip into.
Looks really good
Yes Sir !!! them nuts and a few adult beverages we have a meal...lol...
Great job...any left?
Lots left. As hard as it is I try and ration them. Gotta watch the waistline LOL. I did bring a few baggies full in to work for some co-workers to try. All positive feedback.
I like the heat from the Sriracha ones, but you can't beat the flavor of the Blazing. The wife wants me to try Almonds so I need to look for a good recipe for them.
