Title: Ribs and beans
Post by: GusRobin on May 20, 2012, 07:54:11 AM
made some spare ribs yesterday. Cut them into ST Louis cut (kind of) and put them in t 225* for 3 hours of hickory smoke, then drizzled honey, sprinkled brown sugar, and about 1 tbs of butter and doubled foiled. Put them in meat side down for another 2 hours, removed from foil poured juices over the meat and back in for another hr. Here is the final product.

Put some of the trimmings into some baked beans.
