Title: Stuffed Bell Peppers

Made up some stuffed bell peppers last night. I looove these things.

The players.

Cut off the tops, remove the seeds and then chopped the tops to put in the filling.

All cooked up then added some cheese.

Thirty min covered in the oven then 20 min uncovered 10 min rest then,,,,,,,,its dinner time!

Looks excellent!!

Another thing you may wan to try is cut the peppers into 1" thick rings, and stuff the filling inside the rings and smoke/cook them. It like a hamburger inside a pepper ring. They come out really good, and you can easily make sandwiches out of them.

Always love the stuffed peppers you make!

My mom used to make then all the time when I was young :)

I LOVE stuffed peppers..

I like Hab's idea as well.   Gonna try that next time.

One of my favorite meal's since I was a kid. But the peppers ten to get burnt some times and pretty rubbery. So quite a few years ago I had the wife make ever thing as usual. With one small change. We cut the peppers in 3/4 -1" chunks And stir into the mixture instead of stuffing. Peppers we think come out a lot better and softer. Try it you may like it. But they do look prettier that way. ;)
